America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) host the 7th Annual SBDC Day

WASHINGTON, March 15, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — SBDC Day is a national movement and a day of recognition of the SBDC program, its small business clients and the economic success SBDCs have fostered in communities across the country. This memorial day falls on the third Wednesday in March to celebrate the founding of the SBDC program over 40 years ago. 63 SBDC networks and nearly 1,000 small business development centers provide free advice and low-cost training to help millions of small business owners start and grow their businesses.
Small businesses working with their local SBDC get solutions and results that help their businesses thrive on the high streets across America. America’s SBDCs deliver measurable economic results; in 2021, SBDCs helped generate; 85,094 jobs, $7.7 billion in sales growth; 10 billion dollars in the sale; and launched 14,487 new businesses, proving once again that SBDCs are leaders in job creation and economic growth.
To celebrate the collective impact and success that SBDCs have across the country and on the high streets each year, today, March 15, America’s SBDCs are hosting the seventh annual SBDC Day.
