Get Meet Your Maker Day 1 as a monthly PlayStation Plus game, out April 4th – PlayStation.Blog

Meet Your Maker launches on April 4th, and what better way to do that than with Day 1’s availability as part of the PlayStation Plus monthly game series in April 2023.
While there’s no better feeling than finally getting a game into players’ hands, Meet Your Maker’s focus on user-generated content makes this release very special for us.
This is a twisted playground where everyone can let their creativity run free, building and challenging each other with levels we could never have imagined. After the incredible display of imagination and skill we’ve seen from our playtesters, we’re beyond excited to see what the rest of the world can do.
If you are looking for some driving ideas your Personal approach to building or raiding on April 4th, here are some player-inspired profiles to help light the fuse.
What kind of builder are you?
Thinking about the experience you want to create for Raiders isn’t just a fun way to build in Meet Your Maker, it’s an important part of the gameplay. Use this dark creativity to create something memorable and collect awards from Raiders that will boost your outpost’s progress down the road.
The Labyrinth Maker
Each outpost in Meet Your Maker requires you to build a clear path from its entrance to the genmat at its core – but nothing says that path should be easy to navigate. Build like a maze maker and turn the layout of the outpost itself into another enemy for players to contend with. Winding corridors, verticality, multi-branching corridors, and trap-filled dead ends are great ways to confuse raiders.
Along with well-placed traps, guards also play a large part in the Maze Maker’s arsenal. Personally record each of their patrol routes through your maze for maximum impact. Then up the ante by equipping guards with Augments like Unleashed, freeing them from their patrol path to hunt Raiders to the death.
The trapper
Some of the most rewarding moments in Meet Your Maker happen when a Raider thinks They’ve escaped your clever trap setup, only to realize they’ve been driven to the real threat all along. The Trapper loves to string together traps and thinks strategically to stay one step ahead.
You can equip each trap with mods to give you ultimate control over how (and when) they are deployed. Traps can be modified to explode on destruction, trigger more than once, or remain invisible until the Raider grabs the Genmat, creating a whole new pleasure house to contend with on the way out.
The visionary
Outposts are deadly by nature, but we’ve also seen builders go all out on aesthetics and immersion to achieve incredible results. The visionary’s goal is to build a deadly work of art and spend time creating an atmosphere with the perfect combination of architecture, props, decals, and color palettes designed to leave a raider’s jaw on the ground.
In addition to the main toolbox, the base game also includes the Castle Siege Deco Pack, which allows you to build dark dungeons and medieval fortresses. We will be adding a constant stream of themed decoration packs like this to the game after release, all of which can be used individually or combined in unique ways.
Which raider type are you?
As a raider in Meet Your Maker, you take on a series of unique outposts, each designed by players from around the world. Your goal is to get in, grab the Genmat, and escape with your life. There is no right way to raid and what works best for you ultimately depends on the type of player you are.
The Thinker
This is a one-shot, one-kill game, and a methodical approach is often your best bet. Look around every corner, see how much intel you can gather about a room before entering it, and attack with a plan. Think like a builder as much as possible and break down an outpost’s defenses one strategic step at a time.
The speed runner
If adrenaline and unexpected entertainment are your thing, you might be a speed runner. Try trading a meticulous approach for runs that rely on quick reflexes and let your grapple hook propel you through every room. If You You don’t even know what you’re going to do next, how can a builder predict that?
The executor
You don’t just want to hit an outpost, you want to gut it and send the builder back to the drawing board. Completors aren’t just for the genemat, they’re for everything else too. Clear every room, break every trap, kill every guard to collect loot, and find the legacy item before you escape.
And don’t forget, whether you’re building or raiding, it’s always more fun with a friend. Builders can team up to divide up the work and work together on the ultimate deathtrap, and Raiders can bring a friend into the fray for wild action when a stubborn outpost just won’t fall.
We set out to create something new and different with Meet Your Maker, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. We hope you have as much fun building in the wasteland as we do.
