The Let’s Go event is coming up soon Pokemon Go.

The Let’s Go event runs from March 21, 2023 at 10:00 local time to March 29, 2023 at 20:00 local time.

During this event, Diglett, Grimer, Snubbull, Corphish, Starly, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Rye Rola, Tympole, and Litleo will appear in the wild more frequently than normal. Trubbish, Galarian Stunfisk, and Goomy will also have a chance to spawn in the wild, though the Pokemon Go The website stated that they will be rarer than the other Pokemon featured.

While Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour usually only spawn in certain geographic areas, all three Pokémon have a chance to spawn around the world during this event.

During the Let’s Go event, players will have a chance to encounter Shiny Meltan when using the game’s Mystery Box. Players can get the Mystery Box by sending a Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu, or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee on Nintendo Switch.

Four bonuses will be active during this event in Pokemon Go:

  • It will be a “[r]reduced waiting time” in connection with opening the Mystery Box.
  • Players will receive double the amount of Pokemon Candy when transferring Pokemon.
  • Players have an increased chance of encountering XXS and XXL Meltan.
  • Players have an increased chance of finding Ditto disguised as another Pokémon.

Once this event starts, Ditto will have a chance to be Diglett, Grimer, Snubbull, Corphish, Starly, Rye Rola, Tympole, and Litleo.

During this event, two legendary Pokémon will appear in raids. Here is the calendar:

  • Forme Thundurus incarnate will appear in raids from March 21, 2023 at 10:00 local time to March 28, 2023 at 10:00 local time.
  • Lugia will appear in raids from March 28, 2023 at 10:00 local time to April 10, 2023 at 10:00 local time.

Two Mega Pokémon will appear in Mega Raids during this event:

  • Mega Venusaur Appears in Mega Raids from March 21, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time to March 28, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time.
  • Mega Alakazam Appears in Mega Raids from March 28, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time to April 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. local time.

Finally, players will have the opportunity to complete event-related Field Research tasks during this event to earn Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour encounters. There will also be a collection challenge during this event. If players complete the gathering challenge before the time runs out, they will receive 5,000 experience points and an encounter with Meltan.

Elsewhere, a Team Go Rocket Takeover event will take place during the Let’s Go event. The Team Go Rocket Takeover event runs from March 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time to March 29, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Once this event begins, players will be able to collect a new Special Research storyline that will allow them to fight Giovanni and encounter Shadow Regice. Players can collect this special research until June 1, 2023 at 10:00 local time.

According to the Pokemon Go Website, during the Team Go Rocket Takeover event: “Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.” Additionally, during this event, players can also use a Charged TM to trick a Shadow Pokémon into using the attack forget about frustration.

Team Go Rocket members will start using various Shadow Pokémon once this event begins. Players will have the opportunity to see Shadow Alolan Grimer, Shadow Phanpy, Shadow Treecko, Shadow Torchic, and Shadow Driftoon. The Pokémon players that are rescued by Team Go Rocket Grunts during this event will have a chance to be Shiny.

Larvitar, Absol, Skorupi, Sandile, Scraggy, Pawniard, Vullaby, Deino, Pancham, Skrelp, and Salandit have a chance to hatch from 12km Eggs collected during this event.

Last but not least, during this event, players can complete an event-themed field research task that will reward them with a mysterious component.
