AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MARCH. 15
If you take a look, your past is the weight your brain still holds. The shock breaks through, everything lands on the ground. Y’all fear it but I, I’m just here to live blog this pro wrestling show for you guys.
The show begins with the intro video.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman gets a proper introduction as a bar mitzvah man, decked out in gold houndstooth, and accompanied by four lovely ladies in black cocktail dresses to the ring.
He sits down at the mic as blue and white streamers rain down on the ring.
He taunts the crowd for thinking Bret Hart is entertaining and claims Shawn Michaels is better and says we’re here to celebrate the most important day in recorded history, his birthday. And in his religion, the only one that counts, Judaism, when a boy turns 13, he gets his bar mitzvah under the eyes of his master Hashem.
His was great, he lost his V-Card, but after making Bryan Danielson the undisputed best professional wrestler in the world, he’s not just a man anymore, he’s Iron Man!
Hava Negila plays and a bunch of guys come to the ring with a chair to pick Max up and do a proper dance.
Type “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
Before he can get on the mic—
Enter Sammy Guevara.
And before HE can get on the microphone—
Enter Darby Allin.
MJF has a meltdown and tells the three of them they’re ruining his renewed bar mitzvah and he asks what they want. All three are demanding a title match at the same time!
Jungle Boy tells him to shut up and says the last time they fought one on one was at Double or Nothing 2020 and they went back and forth in the Florida heat for almost 20 minutes until Max how always cheated and he won. After that, their lives took different directions, with MJF getting every opportunity in the book while Jungle Boy was stuck on Dark for the rest of the year.
Friedman’s never been on Dark, he’s never been on Elevation, and he’s never been on Rampage, and there’s a whole dressing room full of men and women who bust their ass on the show for sixty seconds while Max gets twenty minutes to do it doing the same nonsense he’s been doing for the past four years.
This whole place revolves around MJF, and the first step to changing that is to take the world title from him. Friedman says the company revolves around him because, unlike them, he’s a star. Sammy tells him to shut up before circumcising him again, telling him he talks too much.
He’s been talking his way through the door, lying and cheating while Sammy had been working on the indies at Whataburger and Subway for ten years, and when he finally got here he was told he’d just be the Inner Circle’s job boy, but now he is a triple champion.
He never had the machine to drive him and he didn’t need it, he brought him here and he will bring him to the world title whether anyone likes it or not.
MJF tells him he’s grateful he took the time to get into locker room fights with everyone despite his busy schedule, and—
Darby Allin takes over.
He says he turned in a film at film school in 2013 and his teacher told him he had to change everything about it so he dropped out of school instead and that was a blessing in disguise because it gave him the balls to be a pro to become a wrestler. It was his first day at Buddy Wayne Academy and he told himself he would either make it as Darby Allin or fail as Darby Allin, but he wouldn’t change a thing.
He had a meeting with Tony Khan and said that there will never be a bidding war because AEW is giving him something no amount of money can buy, which is the opportunity to just be himself, and his biggest problem with that Company has grown- Ass wrestlers whining on Twitter about being unhappy with their deals including MJF our world champion and his bidding war of 2024 crap!
And that’s exactly why he should be champion and if he doesn’t get a shot he’s going to smack him in the face with his skateboard and give him a headlock takeover.
Max is apoplectic and says he’s heard enough and takes off his hat and Darby points out that he looks like shit from the black eye. Friedman tries to recover with jokes, but one about Sammy’s serial monogamy backfires when Guevara points out that his fiancée left him.
MJF says each of them had mentors – Christian, Jericho and Sting, but he’s never been to his dad’s daycare and he’s not afraid to admit they’re the pillars and the future, but he’s the only one holding that can set up. They don’t even deserve the world title, they’ll leave his party, and then he’ll eat his cake because he deserves it.
He punches Jack on the way out, a fight ensues and MJF is knocked off the apron and into his own cake!
We get footage of Chris Jericho naming the street he grew up on after him and being awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal.
The Blackpool Combat Club performs and we take a break.
