AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR MARCH. 8th

I went into town at noon, it was empty and bare. I looked in the mirror at midnight there was nobody but now I’m here to live blog this pro wrestling show for you all.

The show begins with an intro video made up of clips from Revolution.

Jay Lethal vs. Orange Cassidy (c) (AEW All-Atlantic Championship)

Referee and road agent Pat Buck ensures Lethal’s allies Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh go to the back before the game begins.

Cassidy with a headlock takeover, shot off, trade arm drags, Orange backslides for a nearfall and straight back for a headlock takeover. Jay suplex counter, Cassidy goes for headlock takeover again. Arm drag into a keylock, Lethal counters into a crucifix pin for a nearfall of his own!

Fast back and forth, lots of near misses, Rana pin for two from the champion, break up the lethal combo then kick his arm out from under him as he goes for the lethal injection! Down, throw Jay shoulder first into the post!

Lethal turns things around, leaving Orange, back in to break the count and strutting, back out to put Cassidy in the apron and have him clutch his knee. Lifting him up putting shin breakers in the post leaves Orange in agony as we head to the break!

Back from the commercial, Lethal is still in control and pokes fun at the hands-in-pockets deal and Cassidy wakes up to trade forearms! Stundog Millionaire blocked, satellite DDT denied so he readjusts and hits a brainbuster in the middle of the ring! On the way to the top, trading shots along the way, fighting for position… DIVING DDT!

Champion follows with satellite DDT… STILL NO! Orange Punch stalls due to the damage to the leg and Lethal puts on the quadruped! Cassidy presses on his leg to relieve the pressure, eventually turning around and getting the ropes to force the break!

Leading up, Lethal throws full force chops at Cassidy with limp ones to start, before lassoing herself onto him and getting him back inside! Fireman’s Carry, press Orange, drop him to his feet, counter spinning toehold into a small pack for two!

Deadly combination for two, elbow drop, knees up and Orange then kicks out an Ace Crusher! Hot shot, super kick to the knee, lethal injection but his arm fails! Orange Punch connects this time…

Orange Cassidy wins by pinfall with the Orange Punch and retains the AEW All-Atlantic Championship.

Paul Walter Hauser’s Golden Globe in hand, Lethal attacks Cassidy afterwards but referee Bryce Remsburg rejects him and leads him up the aisle! Jeff Jarrett attacks Orange from behind and grabs his guitar… EL KABONG TO THE INJURED KNEE!

We are aware of Wardlow’s burglary in which he lost his gear, boots and TNT championship belt.

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs being interviewed backstage.

He says it never would have happened to him but there is one thing Wardlow doesn’t have and that is the right to be called champion and he will take that away from him tonight.

“Absolute” Ricky Starks makes his entrance and sits down at the mic.

He says he’s done it all and he gets people asking him what’s next and the truth is he’s not sure but the question on his mind isn’t what he’s going to do , but where he will go next.

Bullet Club graphics and music appear.

Juice Robinson attacks Starks from behind and knocks him down!

And so we go on break.

Back from the commercial, Wardlow is interviewed in a borrowed FTR t-shirt.

Since he doesn’t have his gear tonight, he wants the match to match, so he wants wherever everything matches tonight to be brought down! He’s the TNT champion and no one on earth will take that away from him.

Renee Paquette is in the ring to interview Ruby Soho.

She thinks it’s pretty obvious why she joined Saraya and Toni Storm and says we all created this monster. Her first title match ever was against Britt Baker, and when she lost, those people were ecstatic. So, fast-forward to the Owen Hart Tournament semifinals, where she faced another local in Kris Statlander.

Do you remember the answer she got after beating Kris? They booed her out of the damn building! Then we come to Revolution, when Jamie Hayter pinned her in the middle of the ring, she realized no one would ever come to her defense. Nobody would ever be mad if she lost, and nobody at AEW would ever appreciate her.

But she’s not the only one. Toni Storm came here and was given so little credit that she was named interim champion. We’ve all been begging Saraya to come out of retirement, and then all these fat, mustache, mouth-breathing trolls are after her in no time. They’ve been outcasts since the moment they joined AEW.

The broken foundation is the eligible shits in the back, the rookies who think they deserve the world, so they want to bring out their eligible rookie opponent, Skye Blue.

Ruby Soho vs Skye Blue

Soho gets Blue down and works her back in, step up enzuigiri, big forearm, Skye tries to collect but just eats the standing STO as we go to break!
