Sheldon Cummings joins Smarsh as General Manager of the Corporate Business Unit, which includes registered investment advisors and broker-dealers

In this role, Cummings will focus on supporting the needs of Registered Investment Advisory Firms (RIAs) and broker-dealers, two market segments facing increasing compliance responsibilities in the wake of the pandemic-driven boom in workplace-related digital communications channels and platforms.

Cummings has over 25 years of experience serving small and medium-sized businesses. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Mailchimp, leading revenue, strategy and operations across the company. Prior to Mailchimp, Cummings held dual roles as Vice President of Sales at Intuit and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO).
Previously, he held director positions in the consumer products industry, first at Kraft Foods and then at Mondelēz International. While living at Mondelēz, Cummings lived there Switzerland driven international expansion and category growth for six years Europe.
