Mr. Marrone is expected to discuss Canada’s mining contributions to the global commodities and metals industry.
Mr. Marrone has over 35 years of mining, economics and capital markets experience and has served on the boards of several public companies. Most recently, Mr. Marrone was instrumental in the proposed sale of Yamana Gold to Agnico Eagle Mines and Pan American Silver Corp. involved. The Proposed Transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023, subject to approval by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, approval by Mexico’s Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) and the satisfaction or waiver of certain other closing conditions.
